By this age, our children are at a crucial stage of life where they are preparing to imagine life as an adult. By God’s grace, they are deepening their faith and trust in Christ and are beginning to apply God’s Word in new areas as their worlds broaden. They have been taught that the Bible is one big story of God’s redemption through Christ, but they were not developmentally ready to trace the chronology in a way they can at this age.

To teach preschoolers the Bible, we start with something familiar and real to them and connect it to a new, deeper truth about God and how it applies to their everyday lives. They discover what it means to be part of God’s family and how to live as God’s children. They learn about Creation, the Fall, the promised Savior, God’s faithfulness to his people, and that Jesus was sent because of God’s great love.

A child’s basic attitude toward life, other people, and God develops during the first five years. In Show Me Jesus Toddler, we help our little ones learn to love God, his Word, and his church, all while being pointed to Jesus.
