Our name is our mission!

We’re here to partner in the gospel with you! GCP’s mission is to produce resources for the church's work of nurturing and equipping the people of God ... and doing so with a focus on building Christ's kingdom and preparing believers to "glorify God and enjoy him forever."

Our Vision

Consistent with the missionary vision of its parent churches, GCP serves the church with solidly biblical, Reformed publications. We assist God's people with the exciting ministry of making disciples in response to the Great Commission.

Our Perspective

GCP's place among Christian educational publishers is that we stand fast on the Scriptures as the only infallible rule of faith and practice. Our theology is based on the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms.

Our Distinctives

Great Commission Publications has five theological and biblical distinctives that define who we are and what we believe:

OUR SOVEREIGN GOD
Our focus is on God as our Sovereign Creator, Redeemer, and King. He is the author of the Bible and its main subject and character. Our purpose is to glorify and enjoy Him forever.

SHOW ME JESUS
All of Scripture is the unfolding story of salvation and Jesus is its focus. We show how Jesus, revealed throughout the Bible, came to seek and save the lost.

GOD’S GRACE IN THE COVENANT
From Genesis to Revelation, God’s covenant is the thread that ties the Bible together. We build on that truth to teach students of all ages the consistent faithfulness of God.

REDEMPTIVE-HISTORICAL APPROACH
This Reformed approach to the Bible is essential to understanding God’s Word as the unified counsel of God. Therefore, we interpret each portion of God’s Word in context of the whole.

CHURCH-FAMILY CONNECTION
Church and home: working together to point covenant children to Christ. We believe parents are key in the spiritual training of their children. We provide resources for families to reinforce the solid teaching children receive at church.

Who We Are

Great Commission Publications, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit joint venture governed by a representative Board of Trustees consisting of ministers and elders from Orthodox Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Church in America.
